Wilmington plc, a global provider of information, education and networking services in the global Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) markets, today announced it has been shortlisted in the ‘Transformation with Data (Data Enablers) category in the DataIQ Awards 2021.

Wilmington plc, a global provider of information, education and networking services in the global Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) markets, today announced it has been shortlisted in the ‘Transformation with Data (Data Enablers) category in the DataIQ Awards 2021.

Now in its 9th year, the DataIQ Awards honours both companies and individuals that have demonstrated excellence in the data industry over the past 12-months.

The award nomination focuses on Wilmington’s digitisation transformation programme and a number of key deliverables that were successfully executed within the last 12-months, amid the constraints of the global pandemic and national lockdowns. In fact, Covid-19 accelerated planned projects from at least three years of digitisation to instead being achieved in a number of months.

Thomas Mount, Group Chief Technology Officer, Wilmington plc said:

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be working for Wilmington; we’ve invested heavily into our technological capabilities, grown our team, digitised services and focussed on innovation and data to provide the solutions our clients need – and at one of the most unprecedented times in recent history, amid national lockdown restrictions.

“The innovation that drives Wilmington’s growth is facilitated by excellence in technology and data. At its core Wilmington is increasingly a data-led business supported by strong digital capabilities, and it was these capabilities that enabled the rapid acceleration of our digitisation strategy.

“I am therefore very proud that Wilmington and our fantastic team of data and technology experts have been recognised by the DataIQ Awards judges with our shortlisting in the ‘Transformation with Data (Data Enablers) category, and look forward to the winners being revealed on 30th September.”

The winners of the DataIQ Awards 2021 will be announced on 30th September at a gala reception in London. For more information about the awards visit: https://www.dataiq.co.uk/shortlist
