From different beginnings...
"Initially, I found Wilmington via a recruitment agency as I had been unsuccessful in a job application. The agency thought I had skills Wilmington would like, so I was asked to take part in an assessment day which was made up of a few group tasks and an interview. I felt very well treated by all at Wilmington. After this, I was told promptly that I had received an offer from Wilmington.
As the role is part of an 'early careers scheme', the role didn't begin for several months after I had received the offer. Thankfully, in the following months the people team at Wilmington set up virtual meetings to meet my future colleagues and get to know some of the People team better. This was great to get more acquainted with what is admittedly a pretty complicated company.
Once the job itself began, Wilmington invited us to London for our first week. Our train, accommodation and meals were all paid for. In this week, the People team took great care to introduce us to the various brands within Wilmington, show us the systems, introduce us to the Exec team and more. I felt incredibly well looked after.
Since starting the job properly, I have received nothing but positivity and support and have been offered plenty of development opportunities. I work as part of a team that is friendly and helpful. My overall experience with joining Wilmington has been hugely positive and I look forward to seeing where the role will take me".

"I am immensely grateful for the incredible opportunity I've had to kickstart my career at Wilmington plc, starting off in the Product team at ICA. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and valued as a part of the ICA family and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The onboarding process was long, but supportive, giving insight when needed and always being there for any questions. The assessment days were insightful and challenging and created a sense of value. After getting the job, the role wasn't to start for a few months. Although this was a long time, looking back I’m grateful to have it to ensure I was prepared and ready for what was going to be thrown my way.

I have been specifically interested in the work surrounding user experience, membership engagement and even looking at creating some exciting new products in the training world relating to new technologies within Regtech, Fintech and even Artificial Intelligence.
