Black history month is a time to reflect on what it means to be from the black race, celebrate the uniqueness of our heritage and remember the sacrifices of our Heroes past.

Nigerian heritage is a rich tapestry of diverse cultures, languages, traditions, and histories, shaped by centuries of interactions between numerous ethnic groups, civilizations, and external influences. 

Nigerians are known to be intelligent, hard-working, and for their “can-do” and “never-say-never” attitude, which is complimented with friendly and accommodating spirit. 

Nigeria continues to maintain pioneering status with her music which have played major roles in shaping Africa's music scene as well as influence contemporary music world. Artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage are taking Afrobeats to new levels. 

Nigeria is a multinational state, as it is inhabited by over 250 ethnic groupings, of which the three largest are the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. These ethnic groups speak over 500 different languages, have diverse cultures, and exhibits unique art. 

Nigeria prides herself in a rich array of cuisines (such as Jollof rice, Fufu, Egusi, tuwo, akpu etc). 

Diverse fashion styles (such as buba, agbada, babaringa, isiagu, aso-oke etc) and festivals (such as eyo, argungu, Durbar etc) exist across the different tribes. 

BLACK IS UNIQUE, BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!!!
